Ed Dunbar's Obituary
Ed Dunbar, age 77, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at 2:15 a.m. in his home. Ed was born on June 21, 1939 in Wayne, MI, a son to Smitty and Alyce (Bennett) Dunbar. On November 8, 1975, he married Jacquelyn Bernidette Krem in Michigan and she survives. Ed was of the Catholic faith and had worked as an auto mechanic and truck driver for many years. He was president of the Sons of American Legion in Hiawassee, GA, loved to drive stock cars and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ed loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Jackie Dunbar of Coulterville, IL; two sons, Robert (Judy) Huckabye of Paragould, AR and John (Angie) Huckabye of Paragould, AR; two step-daughters, Toni (Michael) Raney of Coulterville, IL and Kellee Mesechoff of Lincoln Park, MI; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters; Carol Ann Dunbar, Denise Dunbar and Teri Fleming. Ed's wishes were to be cremated with no services.
