Earl Glenn Rosenthal's Obituary
Earl Glenn Rosenthal, age 63, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 1:34 p.m. in Sparta Community Hospital Emergency Room, Sparta, IL. Earl was born on September 3, 1944 in Anna, IL, a son to Ray and Suda (Evans) Rosenthal. He retired as a Fire Control Tech from the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War veteran. On March 31, 1973, he married Ruth Anderson and she survives. Survivors include his wife: Ruth of Coulterville, IL, son: David (Anita) Sherry of Coulterville, IL, two daughters: Betty Rosenthal of Imperial Beach, CA, and Mary Sachs of El Cajon, CA, three brothers: Ernest Rosenthal, John (Nellie) Rosenthal, Kenneth (Teddie) Rosenthal, sister: Mary Margaret (Bill) Taylor, and five grandchildren: Vanessa Sherry, Trina Sherry, Melissa (John) McClintock, Steven Earl Sherry, and Anson Sachs. He was preceded in death by his parents and son: Frank Steven Sherry. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and then on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
