My first memory is that my grandmother, Ora May Sutliff, worked with Dr Cawvey at the clinic and she had him pierce my ears for me the first day of summer vacation after my freshman year of highschool. Grandma always thought very highly of him and I remember him fondly from many hours spent at the Cawvey home as a child.
I think Pinckneyville will not be the same without his presence. God bless and keep you all with much comfort during this time.
