My heart and prays go out to all you children and grandkids .I loved Dorothy very much at one time we were very close, but like everything in life we get so busy in are own lives there seems to never be enough time to share with old friends.and Iam very sorry for that! She will always be in my heart. Please let me know if the family needs anything!!
My condolences to the McBride family. Dorothy was a true friend of my late husband Arthur Vann. She was a great woman to know and I feel grateful that I Art introduced me to her and that she became someone special to me also. My family will continue to pray that God heals your broken hearts.

I loved talking with her at work and she was a very good cook :) mmm those greens she would have cooking on the holidays would have the whole place smelling good. I will always remember her kindness she came to Ezekiels baby shower with a gift bag full of supplies..Rest in Paridise

I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Dorothy. My sympathy to all the family. I met Dorothy when I moved to Du Quoin and worked in the office at Captain Mine. I stayed there for 2 years and got to know her and truly enjoyed her company. I'm sure she will be greatly missed.
