Dorothy Marie Lunnemann's Obituary
Dorothy M. Lunnemann, age 63, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 2:11 a.m. in Marshall Browning Hospital, DuQuoin, IL. Dorothy was born on May 1, 1947 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Jack and Eunice (Williams) Vancil. She married Floyd Lunnemann on May 3, 1969 in Pinckneyville, IL and he survives. She was a member of Holts Prairie Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL and in her lifetime had worked as a homemaker, a waitress at Bud & Carolyn's in Pinckneyville, a truck driver driving with her husband, and a secretary for P&C Trucking. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, was an avid NASCAR fan and was a loving mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Floyd Lunnemann of Pinckneyville, IL; a son, Kevin (Denise) Lunnemann of Pinckneyville, IL; two daughters, Regina (Rich) Hug of Nashville, IL and Renee Rednour of Tamaroa, IL; two sisters, Wilma McDonnough of Pinckneyville, IL and Faye Saddler of Pinckneyville, IL; nine grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Aaron Lunnemann; a daughter, Roxanne Hill; three sisters, Susie Miller, Bell George and Blanche Rednour; and five brothers. Private family graveside services will be held at Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL with Brother Raymond Baggott officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
