Dorothy Ann Hubler's Obituary
Dorothy Ann Hubler, age 92 of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 1:01 a.m. in Delmar Gardens South, St. Louis, MO. Dorothy was born on February 26, 1919 in Rice, IL, a daughter to Tomas and Theresa (Ladendecker) Porter. On October 4, 1937, she married Melgor H. Hubler in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Todd's Mill, IL and he preceded her in death on April 10, 1987. Dorothy was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL, had worked at the Pinckneyville Garment Factory for 21 years and was a homemaker. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. and enjoyed quilting and crocheting. Dorothy's greatest joy was her family and she dearly loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, She is survived by one son, Fred (Gayle) Hubler of Columbia, IL; two daughters, Cecilia (Carl) Phillips of St. Louis, MO and Theresa (Mike) Criscione of The Villages FL; seven grandchildren, Crystal Phillips, Cheri (Frank) Woodson, Cory Phillips, Shawn (Laura) Criscione, Jeff (Margie) Criscione, Josh Hubler, and Brian (Heather) Hubler; five step grandchildren, Mike Criscione, Bill Criscione, Margaret Dudenhoeffer, Steve Criscione, and Scott Criscione; eight great grandchildren, Brad Woodson, Reilly Woodson, Cameron Phillips, Riley Hubler, Brayden Hubler, Mason Criscione, Luke Criscione, and Andrew Criscione; ten step great grandchildren, Matthew Criscione, Derek Criscione, Brian Criscione, Diana Lurkins, Brent Dudenhoeffer, Ryan Dudenhoeffer, Cristy Roettgen, Daniel Criscione, Scott Criscione and Taylor Criscione; three step great-great grandchildren, Macy, Cloey, and Grady Dudenhoeffer; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Hiram Porter; and one sister, Mary Shreeman. A funeral mass will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Cemetery, Todd's Mill, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. Bruno Catholic School Fund.
