I know it has been a while since her passing by I just found out. I'm sorry for your loss. I met Dottie in 1993 and we became friends. She was kind, compassionate and a great cook. I will always remember how sweet her daughter Moriah was and how crazy Dottie was about her. Rest in Peace old friend.
I was so very sad to hear of Dotties passing. I have many great memories of her at church camp. I'm also sorry I didn't know she still lived right here in St. Louis. I would have loved to see her again, not sure how long it's been, but too long. Thinking of the family.
From a career of teaching at Pinckneyville Community High School, I met hundreds of students. For many, my memory has dimmed, but not so with Dottie. I'm remembering a sweet wholesome girl from Swanwick. She had faced some tough times, but had a smile on her face. Intelligent, creative, cooperative--a teacher's dream come true. Sorry for your loss!
