Donna June Goodwin's Obituary
Donna June (Moak) Goodwin, age 74, of Coulterville, IL, formerly of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. in Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. Donna was born on June 4, 1936 in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to William and Hattie (Smith) Moak. On September 8, 1957, she married Edward L. Goodwin in Melbourne, FL and he preceded her in death on January 5, 1983. She was a member of Winkle Baptist Church, Winkle, IL and had retired from Quality Control at Spartan Lite Metals after 20 years of service. Donna dearly loved taking care of and playing with her grandchildren. Survivors include her son, Scott (Carol) Goodwin of Bremen, IL; two daughters, Lori Goodwin of Trenton, IL and Jill (Doug) Jackson of Coulterville, IL; a sister, Jean Kalb of Troy, IL; three grandchildren, Adam Goodwin, Kole Jackson and Kade Jackson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Theo King, Faye Koenigstein and Elaine Folden; and one brother, William Moak, Jr. A memorial service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. with Brother Jeff Downard officiating. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
