I was the backup guard to Don on the 1951 Panthers and you really get to know someone playing many hours together. Don was bright, aggressive, fair and a real competitor.
I know those qualities served him well throughout his life.
I pray for wide margins of spiritual comfort for his wife and family and all who most intimately mourn his passing. We'll see him in glory!
I have so many many fond memories of Mr. & Mrs. Stanton - and their sons. I think of them often. To Mrs. Stanton, I have always loved you and your family and I hope you find peace.
