Diana (Diane) Hillyard's Obituary
Diana (Diane) Lynn Hillyard, age 61, of Coulterville, IL passed away on March 31, 2020 at Belleville Memorial West Hospital.
Diane was born on April 3, 1958 to Harold and Margie (Mulholland) Wasson in Chester, IL and grew up in Cutler, IL. She married the love of her life Randall (Randy) Hillyard on August 2, 1985 in Boone County, KY, and he survives. Randy lovingly called her "DD". She loved to spend time with Randy, especially riding their motorcycle. She loved to play bingo, paint, craft, and really loved finding a great deal! She adored her fur babies, who she called her "girls", and spoiled them with car rides and ice cream for treats. Diane was Blessed with three sons - Jason, Justin, and Jonathan, one step-son Elijah and his wife Clarissa, and a daughter who died at birth but lived on forever in Diane's heart.
Diane had a great love for family which included her sisters Sue (Steve) Boman, Judy (Joel) Tolliver, Erjuana (Robert) Hartmann, her brother Chip (Christy) Wasson, and her mother-in-law Betty Hillyard, who all survive. Her heart was also full of love for her grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Her love for life, eclectic style, sparkling eyes, and signature laugh will forever be loved, cherished, and remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Diane was preceded in death by her infant daughter Jennifer Lynn, her parents Harold and Margie, father-in-law John, and her beloved Grandma Beulah.
A graveside visitation and service will be held at Coulterville Cemetery, Coulterville, IL on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Ron Mazander officiating. Due to health concerns related to the Covid-19 virus and by the signing of executive order by Governor J.B. Pritzker, attendance will be limited to no more than 10 people at the graveside at one time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family of Diane Hillyard.
