Dennis Wayne DeLay's Obituary
Dennis Wayne DeLay, age 58, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at his home. Dennis was born on April 7, 1950 in Stoddard County, MO, a son to Albert and Betty (Knight) DeLay. He was a member of the Baptist faith and was self-employed in the trucking business as a truck escort. Dennis was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Coulterville Lions Club. He is survived by one daughter: Michelle Dawn (Jason) Fortman of Chester, IL, three brothers: Michael (Ronni) DeLay of Louisville, KY, Eddie DeLay of Marissa, IL and Dwight DeLay (Belinda Hood) of Coulterville, IL, two sisters: Linda DeLay of Tilden, IL and Carol (Rick) Malott of Coulterville, IL, two grandchildren: Jocelynn and Baylee Fortman and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Zelbert DeLay. Memorial services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Friday, April 10, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth Robinson officiating. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Masonic Lodge or Coulterville Lions Club.
