Delores Jean Fulk's Obituary
Delores "Dee" Jean Fulk, age 64, of Sanibel, Florida, formerly of DuQuoin, passed away Monday, December 4, 2006 in Hope Hospice at Shell Point Pavilion in Fort Myers, FL. Dee was born October 15, 1942 in Sterling, IL, a daughter of Elmer J. and Marjorie Grace (Thorburn) Leusby. She worked for many years at Marshall Browning Hospital. She received her B.S. degree in nursing from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She loved art and nature and did volunteer work for the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Bill Fulk of Sanibel, FL, two sons, Dr. Douglas Fulk (Cathy) of Carbondale, IL and Dr. Daniel Fulk (Mamie) of Meridian, MS, six grandchildren, Jessica, Noah, Reese, Murray, Deanna and Emily and a sister Shirley A. Harvey of Dixon, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Service will be held at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Saturday, January 6, 2007 one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation, P.O. Box 839, Sanibel, FL 33957 or to the Wild Dolphin Project, P.O. Box 8436, Jupiter, FL 33468.
