children lives in so many ways. Our daughter Katelynn had Debbie three years ago. The memories she left will always stay with us . Keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.

I grew up in Oakland and spent a ton of time at the Hawkins house as Debbie's brother, Randy, was and still is my best friend. She was adorable and so full of happiness all the time. I can imagine what a wonderful teacher she was and a better mother I'm sure. Thoughts and prayers to all her family. Our world lost a great person and God got a great one.

My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy! We are a Two Generation family touched by Mrs. Rodgers! She taught me in Home Ec in Jr. High. She taught my twin Daughter's 5th grade PE three years ago and my son was in her 5th grade class two years ago! She will be greatly missed. Your family will be on our prayers in the days and months ahead. But know that God has used Mrs. Rodgers to touch many lives!
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Debbie's family and friends. Though we had not seen her in many years, reading all of the tributes to her and people loving and praying for her made us smile because she was truly the same little Debbie that used to babysit our now adult kids.
