Today I learned the passing of my Scoutmaster and I have to admit I still wonder where has the time gone. David Norton along with my uncle have have inspired me to be where I am today. Over thirty years later there hasn't been too many times that I have thought of my Scoutmaster. I've spent last year looking for my merit badges and patch's and Thursday night I found them in a box with the cards that had Mr. Norton's signature on them. In October I completed my last ticket to woodbadge for scouting. Ironically that last ticket was to become a Scoutmaster. I won't be able to follow his shoes but there wont be a time in my scouting career that David Norton be mentioned!
