Dauna Dee Specogni's Obituary
Dauna Dee Specogni, age 56, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 11:48 p.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Belleville, IL. Dauna was born on March 14, 1957 in Vancouver, WA, a daughter to Harry and Kathleen (Juvenile) Jiles. Dauna was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Lively Grove, IL, Coulterville V.F.W. Post Ladies Auxiliary, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Eagles. She enjoyed helping others, volunteering at benefits (selling raffle tickets and cancer pins) and dearly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, James (Marcy) Specogni of Sparta, IL and Joseph A. Specogni of Coulterville, IL; a daughter, Meagan (Benjamen) Slone of Percy, IL; a brother, Christopher (Roxanne) Jiles of Danville, IL; one sister, Cherie (Donald) Wernigk of Potomic, IL;three grandchildren, Joseph A. Specogni, Taira E. Slone, and Olivia M. Slone and one grandchild on the way, Aubree Specogni; several nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Candice Jiles and one brother, Tony Jiles. A memorial service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Dennis Hamilton officiating. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
