Dan Joe Bradac's Obituary
Dan J. Bradac, age 59, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007. Dan was born on July 28, 1948 in Martins Ferry, OH, a son to Joe and Margaret (Shaw) Bradac. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War where he was awarded the Purple Heart. On February 12, 1972 he married Myra "Suzy" Graham in East Cadiz, OH and she survives. Dan was a sales representative for Joy Manufacturing in Mt.Vernon, IL. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church, loved flying, horseback riding, camping, shooting guns and was an avid outdoorsman. Survivors include his wife: Suzy Bradac, one son: Danny (Margaret "Maggie" Bohnemeier) of Nashville, IL, one daughter: Rhonda (Brad) Thomas of Pinckneyville, IL, five sisters: Donna (Russ) Carpenter of Benton, IL, Margaret (Tony) Pizzino of Louisville, OH, Jean Ann (Bob) McCoullough of Decatur, IL, Dorothy (Bob) Glover of Jewett, OH, and Billie (Bob) Dyer of Jewett, OH, one grandson: Tyler Thomas, step-mother: Joan Bradac of Bridgeport, OH, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death be his father: Joe Bradac and two mothers: Margart Bradac and Ella Jean Bradac. Funeral services will be held at the Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Concord Baptist Cemetery, Rice, IL. Friends may call at the Pyatt Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and then on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. till time of service. Memorials may be made to the Civil Air Patrol, P.O. Box 397, Chicago, IL 60186. The family would like to extend their appreciation to everyone who aided in the search for Dan.
