Coral Bryant Biama's Obituary
Coral Bryant Biama, age 93, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 7:20 p.m. in Coulterville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Coulterville, IL. Coral was born on April 17, 1923 in Mill Shoals, IL, a daughter to Rev. James Thomas and Hildgarde (Maricle) Bryant. On September 22, 1947, she married Milton R. Biama in Anna-Jonesboro, IL and he preceded her in death on September 24, 1995. Coral was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Coulterville, IL, where she was very active in church activities and served as the choir director, organist and Sunday School Superintendant. She attended S.I.U. Carbondale. Coral was former member of the Coulterville Woman's Club, where she served as past president, was active with Lions Club, Coulterville, IL. and also served as the President of the Coulterville P.T.A. Coral was a giving person with a big personality, she enjoyed reading, watching barges going up and down the river, gardening, canning and baking. She was a people person, never met a stranger and enjoyed visiting with people. Coral loved being a caregiver and was always willing to help people. Survivors include six children, LuCelia Ann "Lucy"(Jim) Beaver of O'Fallon, IL, Thomas James (Debbie) Biama of Sparta, IL, JoNell (Jim) Krohn of O'Fallon, IL, Robert Milton Biama of Coulterville, IL, Tony Lee Biama of Coulterville, IL and Ted Bryant (Bruni) Biama of Palm Harbor, FL; eight grandchildren, Sarah Beaver, Allison (Andy) Jackson, Nathan Biama, Anthony Biama, Michael Krohn ( fiancée, Kaitlin Titsworth), Mario Biama, Max Biama and Isabella Biama; four great-grandchildren, Dominic Beaver, Drew Jackson, Adelaide Jackson and Parker Biama; a sister, Christina Blank of Mt. Vernon, IL and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Kenneth (Louise) Bryant; brother-in-law, Harold Blank and sister-in-law, Dorothy Bittner. Funeral services will be held at First United Methodist Church, Coulterville, IL on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Karen Blank- Ewell officiating. Interment will be in Coulterville City Cemetery, Coulterville, IL. Friends may call at First United Methodist Church, Coulterville, IL on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Coulterville, IL., Coulterville Rehabilitation and Health Care Center Resident Activity Fund or Alzheimer's Association. Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
