Constance E. Bruns' Obituary
Constance E. Bruns, age 55, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 at 12:30 a.m. in Good Samaritan Hospital, Mt. Vernon, IL.
Constance was born on May 16, 1966 in Long Beach, CA, a daughter to Clifford Ray and Hazel Ellene (Vaughn) Bristow. She married Anthony Eugene Bruns in Washington County, IL. She had worked as plumber, painter, and construction. Constance was of the Lord's faith. She was an independent woman who was a great mechanic. She was good at drawing, puzzles, building things, and was a great decorator. Constance enjoyed camping, hiking, and had a great eye for arrow head finding. She was excellent at making jewelry from the arrow heads that she found, for herself, loved ones, and friends. Constance was excellent at cooking anything. She enjoyed watching live music especially Alison Krauss, Alanis Morsette, Adele, and Metallica. She loved animals, and her flower and tree garden. Her passion was spending time with her family. She never met a stranger and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Anthony "Tony" Bruns of Pinckneyville, IL; a son, Jimmy Bristow of Pinckneyville, IL; one daughter, Carree Mullen of Ithaca, NY; three brothers, Bud (Valerie) Bristow of Evansville, IL, John (Kathy) Bristow of Oklahoma, and Danny Bristow of Tucson AZ; sister, Cheryl (Jim) Hunt of Percy, IL; twelve nieces and nephews, Brian Bristow, Levi Bristow, Christina Bristow, Johnny Bristow, Jr. Dana Bristow, Alecia Bristow, Elizabeth Bristow, Angela Bristow, Emily Bristow, Anna Bristow, Daniel Bristow, Jr., and Austin Bristow; and Dog, Jesse James..
She was preceded in death by her parents.
It was Constance's wishes to be cremated and the Interment will be in the Bristow section of the Massey Cemetery, near Crowder, OK.
