Charles William Pilbean's Obituary
Charles William Pilbean, age 90, of Ellis Grove, IL, passed away on February 1, 2008 at 9:30 p.m. at the home of his son. Charles was born on April 9, 1917 in Swanwick, IL, a son to Fred and Annie (Grafton) Pilbean. He was a coal miner for 33 years, was a former Mason and enjoyed playing music and singing. Survivors include a son: Charles "Bill" Pilbean, Jr. of Ellis Grove, IL, two daughters: Virginia Wild of Peoria, IL, and Norma (Richard) Perez of Mesa, AZ, and nine grandchildren: Dennis Pilbean, Troy Pilbean, Jason Pilbean, David Pilbean, Tonda Wild, Danny Warner, Mary Warner, Linda Warner, and Lori Warner. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, two brothers, and a half-brother. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Scott Henley officiating. Interment will be in Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
