Charles David Faulkner III's Obituary
Charles David "Charlie" Faulkner III, age 63, of Urbana, IL, formerly of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008 at 7:45 p.m. in Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL. Charlie was born on October 20, 1944 in East St. Louis, IL, a son to Charles David II and Edna Mae Faulkner. In 1991, he married Mary Frances Martin in Pinckneyville, IL and she survives. In his lifetime, he graduated from St. Louis College of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist for 40 years, having recently worked for the Carle Pharmacy, Urbana, IL. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Champaign, IL, and enjoyed leather crafts, playing the piano, and cooking. Survivors include his wife: Mary Frances of Urbana, IL, two sons: Charles David IV (Christina) Faulkner of Silver Spring, MD, and Eric Edwin (Mary) Faulkner of Falls Church City, VA, a daughter: Hollie Nicole Faulkner of Metamora, IL, four step-children: Denny Giacomo, Pamela Jones, William Giacomo, and Kenneth Giacomo, all of Pinckneyville, IL, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a sister: Carol (Don) Raycraft of Bloomington, IL, and two nephews: Craig and Mike Raycraft. Graveside services will be held at Vahalla Gardens of Memory, 3412 Frank Scott Parkway W., Belleville, IL on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Cynthia Bean officiating. Friends may call at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Mills Cancer Center, Urbana, IL.
