My first job after graduating from high school was in bookkeeping at The Chisca Hotel and Ms. Ruppert was my boss. I remember her as very patient and kind. I was young and pretty full of myself and She once wrote me a letter encouraging me to follow the right path. Eve that was over 60 years ago I have never forgotten her and have often thought of her over the years.
Cecelia Ruppert was a GREAT Lady. I know very few that deserve that title. She lived an exemplary life and was an inspiration to us all. She set a high personal and professional standard for herself and worked very hard to achieve it.
She was an accomplished business executive at a time when most women did not advance beyond secretary.
Her family was her greatest joy. She had an adoring love for all of us and was so proud of our accomplishments.
I'm grateful to have known her and appreciate the influence she had on me.

Cecelia M. Ruppert, my aunt and Godmother, was a gracious, generous and dignified woman. She lived her convictions ~ a life of the highest personal, religious and professional standards. She was a loving, devoted and caring daughter, sister, aunt and friend.
Aunt Cecelia will be missed, but never forgotten. With love, Cecelia Catherine Ruppert Barkley.
We were so saddened to hear of Cecelias passing. What an amazing life. May god Bless you and comfort you at this difficult time.
May she rest in a well deserved peace. I shall never forget her hearty laugh and delightful stories. She had a refreshing personality. My grandchildren told every one at school that their grandmother had a 110 year old aunt. The numbers are not to be understood by a 10 and 8 year old. I`m sure she had immediate passage to heaven.
Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting her, I have no doubt she was a wonderful person.
I do know her sister Margie and her niece, Louise and they are wonderful women. It is a joy to know these Ruppert women.
May Aunt Cecelia rest in peace.
