Carol Ann Lambert's Obituary
Carol Ann Lambert, age 64 of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 9:20 p.m. in Washington County Hospital, Nashville, IL. Carol was born on May 1, 1945 in Waukegan, IL, a daughter to George and Dorothy (Williams) Ogilvie. On September 4, 1966 she married Harold E. Lambert in Waukegan, IL and he preceded her in death on August 4, 1996. Carol was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL, worked as a pharmacy technician for Mazurieck's Drug Store, Waukegan, IL and worked in housekeeping at the Main Street Inn, Pinckneyville, IL. Carol was very active in her church, the Woman's Guild, enjoyed teaching Sunday School and was involved in various other organization within the church. Carol was a scout leader and had a great love for her grandchildren. Carol is survived by her parents, one son: Eric Lambert of Pinckneyville, IL, two daughters: Vicki (Mark) Benke of Lake in the Hills, IL and Margie (Bruce) Schwarz of Pinckneyville, IL, three sisters: Judy (Jack) Harper of North Carolina, Janet Deutsch of Waukegan, IL and Debbie (Bruce) Hankey of Steiger, IL, six grandchildren: Daniel, Krystal, Tyler, Trevor, Trenton and Travis, and numerous aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded by her husband and one brother-in-law: John Deutsch. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL with Reverend Cindy Bean officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. and then at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville, IL.
