Carmen Marie Ocasio's Obituary
Carmen Marie Ocasio, age 34, of Pinckneyville, IL, died Thursday afternoon, January 31, 2008 as a result of an automobile accident south of Pinckneyville on state route 13/127. Carmen was born November 14, 1973 in Niles, MI, the daughter of Angelo Manuel and Beverly Kay (Shelton) Ocasio. She was a member of New Testament Holiness Church, Bangs, TX, loved working with children, and was in the process of obtaining her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development. Survivors include her son: William Clopton of Pinckneyville, IL, daughter: Hannah (Derek) Hamilton of Pinckneyville, IL, granddaughter: Aleena Kay Hamilton, mother: Beverly Taborn of Bangs, TX, grandmother: Cassie Griffin of LaCrosse, WI, brother: Angelo (Becki) Ocasio of Pinckneyville, IL, and their daughter: Brianna White of TX, two sisters: Rhonda Shelton and her three children: Everett Kautz, Nathaniel Shelton, and Ethan Shelton all of Wapakoneta, OH, and Cassie (Robert) Jones and their three children: Trey, Grant and Aimee Jones all of Eldorado, IL, and one step-sister: Elizabeth (Alfredo) Henquen of Dania Beach, FL, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her stepfather: Doyle McCaleb Taborn and two infant children. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
