Bryan Keith Burnett's Obituary
Bryan Keith Burnett, age 56, of Cuba, Illinois, earned his heavenly wings on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Graham Hospital in Canton, Illinois.
Bryan was born on December 16, 1967, in Peoria, Illinois, a son to Lloyd Roger Burnett and Beverly Jean (Stegens) Burnett. They are together once again .
Bryan had a giving spirit and would help anyone that needed it, even strangers, and would not expect anything in return but just a thank you. He enjoyed shooting the breeze with family and friends. Bryan's favorite job was driving for Beards Trucking in Astora, Illinois. He made many lifelong friends during his time there, who became a part of his chosen family. They were "good people". His niece said, "In my younger years I couldn't wait for him to come home so I could hear the stories about his trip. They were always exciting. He was one of the stable male figures in my life and I will miss him."
Bryan loved the adventure of the open road. The best time of his life was when he took his Dad (Roger) in the big rig over the road. Bryan loved big trucks, fast cars, motorcycles, horses, anything that took him faster than he could run. He loved anything that got him out in nature.
He also enjoyed all things relating to history. Bryan attended Daysprings Native American Methodist Church in East Peoria, Illinois. He loved his church and congregation. The church shaped and molded him into the man he was today. He enjoyed aggravating his nieces and nephews (kiddos) by shaking up their drinks before giving it to them.
