Brian Adam Scholebo, age 25, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 8:17 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital Emergency Room, Pinckneyville, IL. Brian was born on October 14, 1991 in Murphysboro, IL, a son to Jeffrey and Patricia (Place) Scholebo. He was of the Baptist faith and worked at Spartan Light Metals, Sparta, IL as a die cast operator. Brian enjoyed spending time with his son Nicholas, video gaming, collecting Nightmare Before Christmas items, his truck and his dogs. Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Patty Scholebo of Pinckneyville, IL; his fiancé, Ashley Dunn of Pinckneyville, IL; a son, Nicholas Jamez Scholebo and was expecting another child; maternal grandmother, Mary Jankowski of Richview, IL; two brothers, Jeffrey Scott (Sherry) Scholebo of Pinckneyville, IL and Brandon Lee (Michaela) Scholebo of Pinckneyville, IL; a sister, Andrea Nicole Scholebo (Daniel Craig) of Pinckneyville, IL; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dave and Roberta Scholebo and maternal grandfather, Jepth Gene Place. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Brother Raymond Baggott and Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment will be in Mueller Hill Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Nicholas Scholebo.
