Brian Dale Ruppert's Obituary
Brian D. Ruppert, age 35, of Orion, IL, formerly of Coulterville, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center in Moline, IL. Brian was born March 14, 1972 in Pinckneyville, a son of Lonnie and Melinda (Bahre) Ruppert. He married Stephanie Halsey on November 11, 2000 in Elburn, IL. Brian was a trainer for excavators at the John Deere Training Center in Davenport, IA. He was a member of the Buckeye 4-H Club of Perry County. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, being involved at his church, Mary, Our Lady of Peace in Orion and playing with his boys. Survivors include his wife Stephanie, two sons: Max and Wes both at home and a third child due in July, his parents Lonnie and Melinda Ruppert of Coulterville, two sisters: Julie (Ken) Fehr of Red Bud, and Elaine Ruppert of Glen Carbon, a brother Jon (Cortnie) Ruppert of Coulterville, his maternal grandmother: Dorothy Bahre of Nashville, IL, his paternal grandparents: Frank and Minerva Ruppert of Coulterville,father and mother-in-law: Rick (Kathy) Halsey of Kaneville, IL,one brother-in-law: Brian (Jen) Halsey of Elburn, IL and his grandmother-in-law Louise Flood of DeKalb, IL and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather: Charles Bahre. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, IL. Interment will be in Swanwick Bethel Cemetery. Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.with the rosary being recited at 8:00 p.m.,then on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. till 9:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Brian Ruppert's Children's Education Fund.
