Brian R. Morrison's Obituary
Brian R. Morrison, age 35, of Coulterville, IL, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2009 at his home. Brian was born on October 11, 1973, a son to James William and Ruby Jewell (Choate) Morrison. He married Misti Leigh Carroll on July 4, 2004 in Iowa and she survives. Brian served in the United States Army Reserves and worked as a laborer. He was a member of the Illinois State Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited, National Rifle Association, Varmint Hunter Association, and the National Wild Turkey Federation. Brian was an outdoor enthusiast, and loved hunting, trapshooting, archery, was a jokester and the life of the party. He especially loved spending time with his family and taking his son everywhere. Brian is survived by his wife, one son: Cameron Scott Morrison, one daughter: Alixzandra "Allie" Carroll, one brother: Terry (Linda) Morrison of Tilden, IL, three sisters: Carol Morrison and Tammy (Ed) Zimmerman, all of Coulterville, IL and Karen Raney of Litchfield, IL, and one niece and three nephews: Steve (Minta) Morrison, James Morrison and Bobby and Julie Zimmerman, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Scott Morrison, and beloved dog: Missy. Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Ron Mazander officiating. Interment will be in Buckanan, Rockwood, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Morrison Family.
