I was so sad to hear about this. Brent was a great guy, close to my brother Jim in grade school and junior high. Always laughed easily and had a great sense of humor. I was glad I got to see him briefly the last time I visited PV about 1.5 years ago. I will miss him.
I am sincerely saddened by your loss. I meet Brent last year while working on the Metrolink expansion project. Although I moved onto another job, Brent and I kept in touch and he was definitely the highlight of my experience working on that project. It was very clear that Brett's son was the most important thing in his life and he was very proud to be his father. My deepest condolences to Brett's family.
Saddened to hear about Brent. Like so many, I echo the sentiments about Brent being a wonderful person, a caring individual, and always being there. God bless Brent's soul, his son, and his family. I am forever thankful for the opportunity he gave me to work for him and Shawn Gordy in Springfield, Illinois. Thank you Brent, you will be missed.
The world's a lesser place .
Though we had not spoken in 10 years and have not seen each other in more than 30, I was absolutely devastated to hear about Brent. He was a good friend and a good man, and I will truly miss him. My deepest sympathy to Wendy, Karen, and Amanda.
Please let me know if you intend to have a celebration, as I would be honored to attend.
I am forever grateful to Brent. He pulling me out of the Class I RR world and into the short lines. It was a career changing move and has worked out very well for me.
While working for Brent, he gave me opportunities to grow. He did this by providing the leadership and guidance to navigate the new terrain.
