Brenda Kay Egbert's Obituary
Brenda Kay Egbert, age 64, of Cutler, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 10:17 a.m. at her mother's home in Vergennes, IL. Brenda was born on June 13, 1947 in Murphysboro, IL, a daughter to Loren and Wilma (Hobbs) Brewer. On June 17, 1967, she married David Egbert in Sato Baptist Church, Ava, IL and he survives. Brenda worked in quality control at Country Set, DuQuoin, IL, was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She was a member of Denmark Baptist Church, Denmark, IL, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School and sharing fellowship with the church women's group. Brenda was an American Cancer Society volunteer, loved cooking, shopping and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed and was a gift to all who knew her. Brenda is survived by her husband of 44 years, David Egbert of Cutler, IL; son, Jeff (Kristin) Egbert of Cutler, IL; two granddaughters, Hannah Egbert of Waterloo, IL and Addelyn Egbert of Cutler, IL; mother, Wilma Brewer of Vergennes, IL; three sisters, Carolyn (Ray) Weston of Vergennes, IL, Joyce (Connie) Kramer of Carbondale, IL, and Donna (Lou) Loepker of Freeburg, IL; two nieces, Jessica (Dallas) Terry of DuQuoin, IL and Chelsie (Ryan) McWhorter of O'Fallon, IL; three nephews, James (Brittany) Weston of DuQuoin, IL, Erik Kramer of Carbondale, IL and Ryan Loepker of Cincinnati, OH; and one great niece, MacKinzie Terry of DuQuoin, IL. She was preceded in death by her father, Loren Brewer. Funeral services will be held at Denmark Baptist Church, Cutler, IL on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Marty DeRoche officiating. Interment will be in Cottom Cemetery, Demark, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at Denmark Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to Cottom Cemetery or Denmark Baptist Church Bible School Fund.
