Billy Ray Rednour's Obituary
Billy Ray Rednour, age 63, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013 in Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Bill was born on May 19, 1950 in DuQuoin, IL, a son to Lyman "Slim" and Anna Ernestine (Bird) Rednour. Billy was of the Baptist faith and worked as a carpenter for Contempri Homes, Pinckneyville, IL for a number of years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and gardening. Billy will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include a daughter, Barbie (Jeffery) Cassidy of Fletcher, OK; son Billy L.B. Rednour of FL; step-son, Andrew Lunneman of Pinckneyville, IL; girlfriend and her two children he helped raise; Nancy Hester and Logan and Genevieve A. Hester, all of Pinckneyville, IL; six grandchildren, Kyle Cassidy and Aleesha Cassidy, Billy Gavin Rednour, Derrick Christopher Rednour, Mackenzie Ann Rednour, and Patrick Gauge Rednour; two great-grandchildren, Sophia Cassidy and Mason Cassidy; a brother, Russell N. Rednour of Pinckneyville, IL; two sisters, Sue (Larry) Zettler of Sesser, IL and Barb (Butch) Rogers of Pinckneyville, IL; numerous nieces; nephews; cousins and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Russell Rogers; sister-in-law, Dianna Rednour; aunt, Madge Damron; and nephew-in-law, Steven Beck Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the family of Billy Ray Rednour.
