Beulah P Neal's Obituary
Beulah P. Neal, age 80, of Coulterville, IL, formerly of Cahokia, IL passed away Friday, May 30, 2008 at 10:08 a.m. at Sparta Community Hospital Emergency Room, Sparta IL. Beulah was born on July 29, 1927 in Doniphan, MO, a daughter of Walter and Hazel (Hackworth) Hastings. She married Edward Eugene Anderson in 1957, who preceded her in death on September 11, 1987. Beulah then married James L. Neal on July 28, 1994 in Belleville, IL who then preceded her in death on November 12, 1999. She had worked for Bouras Mop Manufacturing in St Louis, MO as a seamstress retiring after 40 years. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. Beulah enjoyed embroidery and motorcycling, was an excellent cook, loved fishing, gardening and especially spending time her grandchildren. Survivors include four sons: Larry Anderson of Park Hills, MO, Garry (Sandy) Anderson of Park Hills, MO and Dale (Pam) Anderson of Arnold, MO, Michael (Debbie) Anderson of Cahokia, IL, two daughters: Sue (Don) Williams of Coulterville, IL and Linda (Lyle) Inyart of Nashville, IL, three brothers: Printus (Corrine) Hastings, Ray (Polly) Hastings, all of Doniphan, MO and Truman (Linda) Hastings of Alaska, two sisters: Eunice Adamson of St. Louis, MO, and Shirley (Johnny) Blackshear of Kentucky, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three brothers: Pal, Jerry, and Kenny Hastings, and one sister: Elsie Stein Kraus. Funeral services will be held at the Pyatt Funeral Home, Coulterville, IL on Monday June 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Coulterville City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday June 1, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m. and again on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
