I have known a life of sorrow, I have born a heavy load, and my weary feet have stumbled, on lifes rough and rocky road. Soon my burdens will be lifted, soon my trials will be won, soon I'll join my friends up yonder, for it's only one step more. One step more from earth to heaven soon I'll reach that golden shore, soon I'll join my friends up yonder for it's only one step more.
