Betty May Jackson, age 81, of Pinckneyville, IL, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 9:05 a.m. in Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, IL. Betty was born on June 5, 1928 in St. Louis, MO, a daughter to Fred and E Read Obituary
I was saddened to read Mrs. Jackson's obituary. I remember her from my childhood when the carnival would come to Chester. My mother looked forward to catching up with her friend. She was a very nice lady, and I am sure she will be missed.

I am very sorry for the loss of Betty. I know she was a blessig to have around. I loved her very much. She was there for me many times when I needed her. She was a blessing from God to me. May God grant you, the family to get through this time of sorrow, and remember that she is with the Lord and waiting till it is time to reunite with all of her loved ones.
