Betty Emma Bauersachs' Obituary
Betty Emma Bauersachs, age 91, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 8:48 a.m., in Coulterville Rehabilitation Care Center, Coulterville, IL.
Betty was born on May 4, 1932, in Pinckneyville, IL, a daughter to Kenneth C. and Sarah E. (Morgan) Jones. On May 9, 1950, she married Kenneth Bauersachs in Pocahantas, AR, and he preceded her in death on July 29, 2008. Betty worked at a garment factory as a seamstress for 20 years in addition to being a homemaker. She was a member of Winkle Baptist Church, Coulterville, IL. Betty was a member of the I.L.G.W.U., J.I. Case Tractor Collectors Club, and Women's Missionary Union WMU. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, canning, and all sorts of flowers. Betty loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, Bob (Denise) Bauersachs of Coulterville, IL; five grandchildren, Valerie (Mike) Bartnicki, Tim (Wendy) Bauersachs, Amy Bauersachs, Bobbi Jo (John) Jacob, and Gina (Chris) Hoffman; twelve great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Bartnicki, Elizabeth (Nathan) Reed, Dustin Levi Bartnicki, Noah Allen Jacob, Isabel Fay Jacob, Hope Sophie Jacob, Eden Michelle Bauersachs, Sylas Robert Bauersachs, Titus Lee Bauersachs, Logan Goad, Levi Goad; and two great-great-grandchildren, Ben Reed, and Amelia Bartnicki.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter-in-law, Deborah Bauersachs; two brothers, Kenneth J. Jones and Gerald W. Jones.
Funeral services will be held at Winkle Baptist Church, Coulterville, IL on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with Brother Jeff Downard officiating. Interment will be in Swanwick Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, IL.
Visitation will be at Winkle Baptist Church, Coulterville, IL on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Winkle Baptist Church.
