Bernice F. Kellerman's Obituary
Bernice F. Kellerman, age 70, of Pinckneyville, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 5:40 a.m. in her home. Bernice was born on June 16, 1936 in Nashville, IL, a daughter to Aloyious and Rose (Siadek) Piotrowski. She married Louis W. Kellerman in September of 1957 and he survives. She later married Ike Damazyn in December of 1985 and he also survives. She was a retired homemaker and caregiver. She was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, and formerly a member of St. Mary Magdalen, Todds Mill and the Catholic Daughters. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, loved to cook, and dearly loved and cared for her family and will be sadly missed by them. Other survivors include one son: Dallas and Mary Kellerman of Mascoutah, three daughters: Donna and David Middendorf of Okawville, Darlene and David Heine of Pinckneyville, and Dora and Kenny Kelley of Pinckneyville, eleven grandchildren: Nolan and Megan Middendorf, Eric, Alex, and Brooke Heine, Andrew and Adrienne Kellerman, and Jesi and Jill Cochran, two step-grandsons: Dusty and Kyle Kelley, two brothers: Raymond Piotrowski of Tamaroa, and George and Frances Piotrowski of Tamaroa, and two sisters: Florence and Joe Gill of Oakdale, and Teresa Hopp of Pinckneyville. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and one sister. Funeral services will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church on Friday, August 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Nashville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. till 9:30 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
