Sister Williams was one of the most elegant and sophisticated women I've ever known. She attended both of my weddings, she always offered inspirational words. She wrote poems for my childrens' baptisms. I will NEVER forget her and can't wait to see her again someday. May God continue to bless her family. My life is better for having known her. There are few people who cross our path of life that remain forever in our hearts. Barbara was one of those people for me. She truly was an extraordinary person and I feel blessed to have known her. Blessings to the family!
I was so sorry to hear of Barb's passing. She was the most generous and kind person I ever met. She treated her employees like they were her family. I dearly loved Barb. Prayers, hugs and love for all.
I just saw the post about Barbara's death. I knew her for many years for her wonderful kindness to strangers and homeless at the motel. I had no idea about the many ways she shared her gifts in the whole community! God bless this wonderful woman!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I worked for Barbara at the Fountain and the Gambit. She was the most intelligent , kind, and hard working LADY. I have ever known. Rest in peace..

I am so sorry for all the family to hear that Barbara has passed . I am grateful to have gotten to know Barbara a bit from her recent family visit to the cape . I know that she was a strong and loving parent to her children and grandchildren ... and greats , too and when all is said and done that is the sweetest part of life . Godspeed to all of you . I knew Mrs. Williams only a little. But, that not withstanding, was always fully aware that she was a singular, remarkable, truly special human being. Special in the way that some people are, when they have a goodness inside them that, rather than being hidden, is so strong and so huge that it can't be contained within. It has no choice but to radiate outward from them, bathing everyone nearby in it's glow. You didn't really need to know her well to know - truly know and not just suspect- that she was simply a good person. And although I, admittedly, did not know her well, I have no qualms about staying that she was one of the kindest, warmest, most compassionate people I will ever have the privilege to meet.
