Barbara J. Loucks' Obituary
Barbara J. Loucks, age 64, of Pinckneyville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at 2:27 p.m. in Memorial Hospital, Carbondale as a result of an automobile accident. Barb was born on July 11, 1942 in Bay City, MI, a daughter to Harvey Eugene and Maxine (Willis) Rowe. She married Jackie S. Loucks on April 14, 1979 in Sunfield, IL and he preceded her in death on February 25, 1997. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church, Pinckneyville and formerly the assistant cook at 204 School, Pinckneyville. Survivors include one son: Rudy and Heather Stowers of Pinckneyville, IL, one daughter: Paula and Gary Hayes of Walnut Hill, IL, two brothers: Harry Lee and Tammy Rowe of Tunnel Hill, IL, and Ron and Marcia Rowe of Johnson City, IL, two sisters: Sharon and Terry Moore of Benton, IL and Carolyn Hale of Marion, IL, one half-brother: Orval and Stacy Rowe of Murphysboro, IL, seven grandchildren: Danielle, Kelsie, Garyelle, and Juliana Hayes, and Caleb, Marissa, and Hunter Stowers, one great-grandchild: Douglas Gunter III, and a very special friend: Kenneth George of Pinckneyville. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, husband: Jackie Loucks, step-father: Rev. Everette Beaty, and one brother: David Rowe. Funeral services will be held in Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, DuQuoin on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend George Tharp officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, DuQuoin on Friday from 6:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. and then on Satuday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer research.
