Audrey (Tessier) Rudloff's Obituary
Audrey Tessier Rudloff, aged 88, passed away on February 21, 2022 at Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, Illinois.
Audrey was born in Berwick, Illinois on November 5, 1933 to Ezra Joseph Tessier and Grace Stevenson Tessier. She was raised from the age of three by Lawrence and Eva Egbert in Denmark, Illinois where she attended Pinckneyville schools.
Audrey had three children and is survived by Sherry (Rob) Nelson, Laurie (Gary) Shain and Todd (Tara) Rudloff, two brothers: Max Tessier and Dean Tessier, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her caregivers, and two grandchildren.
Audrey worked for Sparta Printing Company for several years. Following that she joined United Mine Workers of America as a tipple operator and haul truck driver at Denmark Mine. She also managed Park Estates Mobile Home Park and worked at Kroger's. Audrey's hobby when she was younger was bowling and she was in the Top 25 Women Bowlers in the state. More recently she was known for the thoughtful notes she sent to everyone and for her angel food cakes and fresh-baked rolls that she made and delivered to people all over town. And Audrey loved watching basketball. Audrey was a member and former Deacon of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Sparta.
A private ceremony at Hill Prairie Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date.
