Arlene "Momma" Hackworth's Obituary
Marjorie Arlene "Momma" Hackworth, age 57, of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012 at 6:16 p.m. as a result of an accident. Arlene was born on February 15, 1955 in Belleville, IL, a daughter to Herbert Lloyd "Monk" and Elizabeth Ann (Hill) Burnett. On August 12, 1976, she married Roy Hackworth in Coulterville, IL and he survives. Arlene attended Assembly of God Church, Perry, OK and worked as an LPN at Friendship Manor, Nashville, IL. She was a member of the Eagles, Pinckneyville, IL and The Posse motorcycle club. Arlene enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, archery, and dearly loved caring for her family. Arlene is survived by her husband, Roy Hackworth of Pinckneyville, IL; three sons, Jewell (Ashley Violet) Hackworth of Pinckneyville, IL, Joshua (Amelia) Hackworth of Mt. Vernon, IL and Joseph Hackworth of Pinckneyville, IL; one granddaughter, Lilyth Hackworth; five brothers, Lloyd Roger (Beverly) Burnett of Peoria, IL, Robert James Burnett of Belleville, IL, Edward Ray (Linda) Burnett of Coulterville, IL, Herbert Roy (Sue) Burnett Tilden, IL, and Harry Leroy (Irma) Burnett of Morton, IL; a sister, Alberta Marie Woodside of Coulterville, IL; numerous nieces; nephews; cousins; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Eugene Burnett. A memorial service will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Ester Bass officating. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to Marion VA Medical Center, Marion, IL.
