Antonilla Adeline "Toni" Bolinski's Obituary
Antonilla Adeline "Toni" Bolinski, age 93, of Pinckneyville, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 11:55 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital. Antonilla was born on September 3, 1914 in Pinckneyville, a daughter to Joseph and Mary M. (Epplin) Miller. On September 12, 1931, she married Felix W. Bolinski in Pinckneyville and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1967. She loved to sing, grow plants and flowers, quilting, dancing and playing bingo. Toni helped her husband manage an electrical shop for a number of years, worked as a Stanley Products representative, and after her husband's death worked as a waitress and bartender. She loved her family and had a special place in her heart for all children. At the age of 53 she obtained her GED from Southern Illinois University. Especially in her 90's, people around her were amazed at her ability to fluently recite the alphabet backwards. She was an excellent speller, with a wide vocabulary. She was a member of St Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, former member and president of the Eagles Auxiliary, member of Moose Lodge, Hospital Auxiliary, Altar and Rosary Society, and National Council of Catholic Women. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Survivors include four sons: John Edward (Barb) Bolinski of Tamaroa, Felix J. (Carole) Bolinski of Chino Valley, AZ, James Alan Bolinski of Pinckneyville, and Robert J. Bolinski of Pinckneyville, three daughters: Mary Frances (Billy) Kelly of Pinckneyville, Elizabeth "Betty" Werger of Pinckneyville, and Doris A. (James H.) Beaty of Pinckneyville, one brother: Cyril "Bud" (Irene) Miller of DuQuoin, one sister-in-law: Sandy Miller of Pinckneyville, nineteen grandchildren: David (Shirley) Kelly, Danny (Marilyn) Kelly, Mark Kelly, Karen (Roger) Heape, Kevin (Lori) Kelly, Mike (Karla) Pearson, Lisa Hottes, Laura Hottes, Roxanne Hill, Eric Hill, Jeffery Bolinski, Richard Bolinski, Dwayne (Lesa) Beaty, James W. (Tori) Beaty, DeAnn (Marshall) Sowder, Travis Beaty and special friends Sara Kausler and daughter Abby, Jayette (Chris) Miller, Robert M. Bolinski, and Jacob Bolinski, forty-seven great grandchildren, thirty-eight great-great grandchildren, and one great-great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers: Joe Miller, Carl Miller and in infancy: Henry Miller, three sisters: Rosamond Leiner, Loretta Miller and an infant sister, one granddaughter, one great granddaughter, one great grandson, and two great-great grandsons. Funeral mass will be held in St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville on Friday, December 21, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. A prayer service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Pinckneyville Skilled Care Auxilary or Masses.
