Anthony J. "Tony" Paszkiewicz's Obituary
Anthony J. "Tony" Paszkiewicz, age 90 of rural Coulterville, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 10:08 a.m. in Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, IL. Tony was born on April 15, 1921 in Ashley, IL, a son to Michael and Tena (Bury) Paszkiewicz. On November 23, 1946, he married Frances Liszewski in Radom, IL and she survives. Tony was a veteran of the United States Army, proudly serving his country during WW II. He was a farmer and also worked at World Color Press in Sparta, IL. Tony was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL and the John C. Atchinson American Legion Post # 110 in Nashville, IL. He was a hard working family man who dearly loved spending time with his family. Tony is survived by his wife, Frances Paszkiewicz of Coulterville, IL; two sons, Joseph Paszkiewicz and James Paszkiewicz both of Coulterville, IL; two daughters, Theresa Berdine of Tuscon, AZ and Marie House of Coulterville, IL; two sisters, Agnes Bauza and Ann Liszewski, both of St. Louis, MO; six grandchildren, Michelle Kiendl, Tammy (Ryan) Resch, Stacy (Doug) Campbell, Jennifer (Rick) Gazdik, Stephanie House, and Josh Paszkiewicz; five great-grandchildren, Evan , Allie, Andrew , Madelyn and Kelvin; his special friend Rudy, several nieces, nephews and many dear friends He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ted Paszkiewicz; one sister, Mary Waier; and one brother and one sister in infancy. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Sunday, July 10, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and eighteen days later on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. Funeral mass will be held at the later date of July 28, 2011 at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Thursday, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Brian Barker officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL, after the funeral mass. Memorials may be made to Coulterville Care Center, Coulterville, IL or St. Bruno Catholic School.
