I was born and raised in Okawville. Married and lived for several years in Lively Grove. I will remember Anthony as a friendly willing man who was always ready to do a favor for his neighbors. Thanks to him my mother in law was able to have her garden plowed every spring and he alway greeted you with a big smile. Never would he accept payment for his deeds. The act of doing the favor for someone was his reward.Thank you Anthony May you rest in peace.
I am Verona"s son Paul and I have such fond memories of visiting Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Anthony on the farm especially the old farm house and barn. May you rest in peace Uncle Anthony.
I have such fond memories of you. You weren't considered to be a people person but you always made time to visit with us when we came into town. I'll always remember your bullet making area, and taking us hunting...skinning that squirrel on the barn wall and my mom trying to get you to do things her way. You doing it until she was out of sight then you did it your way. You made us smile. You were one of a kind Uncle Anthony and you will be missed. May you RIP.
