Amelia Etter's Obituary
Amelia Etter, age 93, of DuQuoin, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 5:30 a.m. in Fairview Nursing Center, DuQuoin. Amelia was born on March 23, 1914 in Chicago, IL, a daughter to George and Amelia (Zander) Sandow. On August 11, 1973, she married Eugene J. Etter in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death on September 26, 2000. She was a member of Gold Plate, Perry County Senior Citizens, and with her husband attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include a niece: Joan Parker of Aurora, IL, a nephew: Robert Wright of Marseilles, IL, and a step-daughter: Barbara Etter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, DuQuoin on Monday, May 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Harry Jerome officiating. Friends may call at Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, DuQuoin, on Monday from 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m.
