Laura Hindman
I will greatly miss my Aunt Alice. She was always baking orange slice cookies, going for her walks, mowing the lawn, teaching Sunday school and being one of the nicest persons I have met. She was truly a lady. I will always be grateful for the help and companionship she provided my grandmother Nina. We spent many nights on the front porch watching the lightening bugs and summer storms. Every Christmas she decorated the tree with old fashioned fat bulb lights and tinsel. No amount of coaxing could sway her to use new bulbs! She was always kind to others, patient, selfless and caring.
A great era has ended and the next journey has begun.
I will love the light, for it shows me the way, but I will embrace the darkness for it shows me the stars.
