Albert L. "Albie" Loos' Obituary
Albert L. "Albie" Loos, age 71, of Cutler, IL, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 9:30 p.m. in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, IL. Albie was born on July 22, 1941 in Cutler, IL, a son to Albert J. and Bertha (Epplin) Loos. He was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Sparta, IL, worked as a coal miner doing mine reclamation and was self-employed. He was a member of the 212 Club, Sparta, IL, Knights of Columbus, Pinckneyville, IL, the U.M.W.A. and the Perry County Farm Bureau. Albie enjoyed jet skiing, riding motorcycles, boating and dearly loved spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include two sons, Larry (Paulet) Loos and Michael (Rose) Loos all of Pinckneyville, IL: two daughters, Katherine (Warren) Gendron of Pinckneyville, IL and Christina (Darrell) West of Dyersburg, TN; very dear friend, Carmen Loos of Prairie du Rocher, IL; two brothers, Clarence J. (Sonia) Loos and Charles (Judy) Loos all of Culter, IL; three sisters, Florence Dudek of Pinckneyville, IL, Bernice (Francis) Grabowski of Troy, IL and Monica (John) Wilson of Ava, IL; ten grandchildren; three great-grandsons; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ralph E. Loos; one brother-in-law, John Dudek; and one nephew, his godson Kevin Loos. A funeral mass will be held at St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Richard Mohr and Father Nick Junker officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery, Pinckneyville, IL. Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the 212 Club, Sparta, IL or VNA/Tip Hospice.
